Mrs. Zettervall loves football, especially East Carolina and Virginia Tech.
She has 2 children, 7 and 4. She likes bike riding with her family down to
the oceanfront, scrapbooking and photography, and Starbucks.
She also likes going to college football games with her husband and
children!
Mrs. Zettervall has been teaching 15 years! Her awesome assistant and co-
teacher is
Elizabeth Davis! Nothing would be possible in room 30 without their teamwork!
Mrs. Beverly Anderson loves soccer and football and is a fan of the West
Virginia Mountaineers. She enjoys the sun and sand of Virginia Beach and
loves to ride her bike on the boardwalk. She will be a grandmother for the
first time in December of 07' and is really looking forward to the joys a
granddaughter will bring to her life. Mrs. Anderson has taught first and
third grades in her 31 years of teaching, but enjoys teaching kindergarten
the most.
Her wonderful assistant is Megan Deihl!
It is the team work of Mrs. Nagel and Mrs. Toone that the children love in
room 31. They share their love of animals, gardening, crafts, reading and
just making learning fun with all of their students. Lots of fun and
exciting things are always going on in room 31. Parents are encouraged to
drop by and visit us anytime.
Mrs. Thornton is new this year, but not to Alanton. She was loved and missed
so much by former parents and students, she and her husband decided to
return to Virginia Beach from Kansas. We are thrilled to have her back and
in Kindergarten with us!
Our mission for Kindergarten is for our children to grow into the best
little people they can be!
We want them to come to school everyday ready to learn and we want them to
have FUN while learning and enjoy their experiences while they are here at
Alanton!
