Snazzy Snacks!
This year is 2nd grade, our class
will have the opportunity to make Snazzy Snacks on Fridays during our language
arts block. We will use this project as a way to practice and perfect our
handwriting. We will then follow the directions, using our very own
handwritten recipes, to create a tasty treat. Of course, the most exciting
part of this day is that after we're done with all our hard work- we get to
eat our creations!!
All recipes will be collected and
kept in the student's handwriting portfolio. At the end of the year, we will
bind the recipes into a book for each student to keep. The book will provide
them with a way to see their handwriting progress. It will also be a great
keepsake of fun recipes from throughout the year!
