Thanks for taking the time to get to know more about our classroom.

Here are some quick facts:

We are one of seven 2nd grade classrooms at Amelia County Elementary School (ACES). We are housed in POD B, along with the Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms.

This year we have 22 students in our homeroom class. Second grade students switch for reading, during the reading block we have 16 students in our reading class.

NEW this year, we will also be "home" to the Gifted and Talented pull-out program, serving 37 students at ACES.

In our class, we will be using a

PROMETHEAN BOARD this year!!

This is an interactive board, which uses a projector that is wired through the class computer - bringing technology and lesson plans together.

Students will have the opportunity to enhance their learning experience in our classroom, through the use of this wonderful board!
