Music 3-5
Welcome to Music at Appomattox Elementary School. My name is Mrs. Bromley,
your music teacher. The 2011-2012 school year marks my 7th year of teaching
music at AES. It is my joy to share the awesome gift of music with the
children of the community here at AES.
I am originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I moved to Virginia when I
started my college education at Liberty University. I received a Bachelor of
Music with teacher liscensure K-12 from Liberty University in 2005. In 2010,
I earned a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lynchburg
College. In my spare time, besides music, I enjoy playing with my dachshund
Rowdy and my son Aiden, taking pottery classes, running, cooking, and
spending time at the beach.
I believe as composer Zoltan Kodaly once said, "No man is complete without a
feeling for music and an understanding of what it can do for him."
I look forward to show the students of AES the love and appreciation of
music each day.
