Hello!! I have been teaching at Blackstone Primary School since 1996. I left
for one year to teach in Dinwiddie County. The children are what I enjoy most
about teaching. They have so much energy and get so excited about learning.
They especially love science and social studies!!
I graduated with a B.S. from Barrington College in Barrington, Rhode Island.
The college has since merged with Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. My
family moved south so my husband could attend seminary at South Eastern
Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. We have four children, two daughters and two
sons. (So NOTHING at school surprises me!!)
My oldest daughter, Jacquelyn is married and lives in Virginia Beach.
Jacquelyn and Robert are expecting our first grandchild! Stephanie, our
second daughter is a doctor of audiology and works in Richmond. Our two sons,
Joshua and Jacob are in college.
I am officially a grandmother! My oldest daughter, Jacquelyn and her husband,
Robert had a baby boy on September 23, 2011!! Deaglan Brady was 7lbs, 13ozs
and 21 and 3/4 inches long. I am overjoyed!!!!
