PARENTS:
1. Please monitor your child's assignment book each night and make sure all
homework is completed. It is a great help to me when good work habits are
reinforced at home. Remind your child to place finished assignments back in
the homework folder as soon as they are done and to clean out his/her bookbag
once a week to avoid unnecessary clutter.
2. Students should be working hard to meet read-up goals! Continuous reading
practice throughout the year is the key to strengthening reading skills. The
SOL reading passages are lengthy and we want every student to be ready for
the challenge. Read, read, read! Practice, practice, practice!
