Our mission at Council Elementary Middle School is to work cooperatively with parents and community leaders to assist students in their intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development. We strive to accomplish this by providing a safe, positive, and challenging environment in which individual students can become responsible and productive citizens in the 21st century while attaining their individual goals.

Message from the Principal

I believe that all children can learn. Elementary years are a time of magic and wonder, a time when teaching and learning have the very greatest impact. Throughout our school we take hold of the opportunity to work and ensure success for each child every day. Each person at Council Elementary Middle School works to create a climate in which positive behaviors are expected, encouraged and rewarded in order to enhance the total school environment. We also have high expectations for academic achievement, citizenship, kindness, creativity, safety and confidence for all students.
We welcome our families to our school and we encourage active parent participation. A well rounded educational experience requires sound partnerships between school and home.

Council Elementary Middle School Achieves AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) and is fully accreditated

Council Elementary Middle School has achieved Adequate Yearly Progress and Full Accreditation for the 2009-2010 school year. The success of the school is attributed to the hard work of the students, teachers, administration, support staff, classified staff, Central Office staff, parents and the community. Thanks to everyone!!!
