Every night except Friday they will have Spelling, Math and Reading Homework.
The math will always be a fact page and the homework side of the guided
practice page.
Spelling will be as follows -
Mon. Three times each
Tues. Writing Sort (basically a pretest) Test is on Wed.
Wed. Draw a picture or Write a sentence with New Words
Thurs. Ladder Words

Friday Only go over the words with your child if they are struggling.
**Evety night of spelling you need to have the kids sort their words and you
call them the words.
Reading-
They are to read the Phonics Story in the Scott Foresman Book on Mon. and
Tues.
Then on Wed. and Thurs. they are to read the main story.
Sometimes it is good for you to take turns reading the pages or for you to
read it and them read the same page after to work on fluency if they are
struggling with the story.
