Will the Speech Language Pathologist screen my child at school?
Yes, the law states that all new students PK-3rd grade are screened for Speech/Language and Hearing. Also, all 7th and 10th graders must have their hearing screened. All screenings must be completed within sixty days from the first day of school.Back to Top

My child is not in school yet, can he/she still receive services?
Yes, as long as your child is two years old prior to September 30th of the current school year your child can receive services from the Public School System. Please call (645-8149) or email for information. If your child is under the age of two and has a Communication Impairment they may be eligible to receive Infant/Toddler Services.Back to Top
