Well I LOVE teaching and I also love Scrabble. This will be my third year at
Floyd T. Binns Middle School and my second year as FTB's scrabble coach.
I also am an avid reader and currently I am reading the following:
The Last Apprentice series
The Happily Ever After series
The Immortal series
The Rangers Apprentice series
and Wings
In my spare time I also enjoy making balloon animals and hanging out with my
dogs. On the weekends I can frequently be seen at Funland playing Laser Tag
with my husband.
I grew up in West Virginia in a small town and have a brother and sister. I
am the silly middle child who moved to Virginia. I live in a nice house with
my husband and two dogs. My first dog is a pug named "Poe" short for Edgar
Allen Poe. My second dog is named Jumba and is named after that big space
alien on Lilo and Stitch.
As a teacher I have only one main goal for all of my students: Learn, read,
and have fun. I want this year to be a fun introduction to middle school.
