We had a busy week this week. Our letter of the week was "D".
In library Mrs. Jarjoura read us "Duck at the Door","Duck Soup", and "Duck
and Cover". The chidren enjoyed that series of books.
On Wednesday we visited Chef Combo. He taught us about different breads and
grains. We tasted a granola bar, shredded wheat, corn flakes and an oatmeal
bar. Chef is one of our favorite resources.
Squawker brought us the words Pounce, leap, wild, tame, lion and grassland.
All of these words pertain to animals.
Cookie sale packets were sent home with your child this week. It is a
fundraiser for our school. Fundraisers allow us to purchase items for our
school without having to make a dramatic increase in tuition. The children
are looking forwrd to Duck Day.
Please remember your box tops for Education. We are hoping to win the pizza
party contest.
An important note went home with your child earlier in the week about NO
PARKING IN THE DROP OFF LANE. This lane can be used only to drop off first
thru seventh graders. Our pre-k children must be walked in and down to their
rooms.
We are still experiencing a problem with posting pictures on our website.
