How do I know if the school is closed due to weather?

The school posts updates on its web page.  The radio and 
television are also 
good sources for updates.  As a general rule, Gloria Dei follows 
the same 
schedule as Hampton City Schools.  If Hampton schools close, so 
will Gloria 
Dei.

I have noticed on my student's paper the term "Not a c.s."...What does that mean?

C.S. is an abbreviation for complete sentence...so if you see 
this on your student's paper, it means that they have not formed 
their answer into a complete sentence.
