Chemistry SOL retake is Thursday, May 31st during 3rd block. I am remediating during your class block. Try the iq.poquoson.org 2008 test again if you'd like. All of you were within 3 questions away so review your question-by-question analysis and ASK questions if you don't understand!!! Some of you need this extra test grade. PLUS, you want to be exempt fromt the final:)

There were two Honors Chem students that did not get a 400. The good news is one of the two have an option to take it over. (You were two questions away!) Although I do not have all the scores, if you look on gradespeed, you can determine whether or not you pass, failed with retake, or simply failed. If you received a 100 on the "Test #3" assignment, you passed with a 400 or better. You may be eligible to receive more points once I receive your scores. If you have a zero (0) in that assignment spot, you failed and did not to well enough to retake it. That grade will change once I receive the final SOL score and equate it with a test grade. If there is no grade, you did not receive a 400 but you can take it again if you choose to. If you choose not to retake it, I will equate your score with a test grade based of a percentage.
Again, congratulations and you all did a good job! I am very proud of you!!!!
By the way, do not send me any more JLab questions! They were due at 12 midnight last night and I will not accept any more. I almost finished recording the 334 emails I received in one day:)

STUDY!!!! Unit 5 Quiz, Lab, and Test is what we are doing this week. Only three assignments are due for this Unit so they should all be complete. Blocks Two and Four, QUIZ Wednesday, the 29th! Block One Thursday, the 1st!

Unit 5 Notes are posted! "Here's what I know" for Unit 4 were distributed Feb 1st and Feb 2nd. Will be due Tuesday, 02/07 for even blocks, and Wednesday, 02/08 for odd blocks. Worth a quiz grade!

All make-up quizzes and tests must be completed by Monday, January 30th at 12 noon. Most of you have already completed make-up work today and will go into the gradebook throughout the week. All grades are not in the gradebook so PLEASE hold all conferences concerning your grade until after all grades are in. If you are concerned about your grade, make sure your work is completed in your notebook for the final notebook check. Remember, your notebook is due before taking your exam on exam day.
