I have been teaching at Lakeland High School for eleven years. I have taught
General Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, and AP Chemistry. This year, I will be
teaching General and Honors Chemistry as well as serve as a mentor for DC and
AP online courses. As you may have guessed, I hold a BS degree in Chemistry.
For 8 consecutive years, between 92% and 98% of my students had passed the
Chemistry SOLs. Last year, all of my students passed their Chemistry SOLs!
That's correct; 100%! I am a revolutionist with regards to today's
educational system. I am the author of a best seller, Classroom Management in
Today's Schools: Closing the achievement Gap, inviting teachers, parents,
administrators, and political advisors to make a conscious shift to help our
future. I have a passion to see students learn and succeed, even when the
odds are against them.
