Week of September 19-23
We will be studying the Early National Period from 1800-1860.  This era included two wars - one with England again and one with Mexico.  The United States grew to cover the land from the Atlantic to the Pacific.  The country saw problems over the growing issue of slavery and the admission of new states to the Union.  This is a very important era in American history.
