I am willing to stay after school if any student would like to review for the Earth Science SOL Test! Testing dates will be 5-16 and 5-17, 2012

 
Second Semester Honor's students,

At the end of each six weeks students will be given an open note Earth Science Journal quiz. The daily journal is designed to make students more aware of the daily earth science events and allow them to relate these events to the Earth Science SOL"s. The journal should have all answers completed and be in chronological order. The quiz is a major grade in each six weeks and greatly affect the final six weeks grade.

 

All students who take Honors Earth Science are required to do a Science Investigation Research
Project.
This project will include a long-term investigation,(experiment) a Backboard (to display your
findings) and a Research Summary (paper that explains what you did and found out). The project
will be due after SOL Tests are completed and will be done outside of the classroom.

This assignment will count for 20% of the students' Semester Average.
