Night Photography- Take photographs at night.

Raw images are due: April 16, 2012
Final image is due: April 19, 2012
Submit one black and white or color photograph by midnight on April 19, 2012.

Arbor Day Photography Contest
Take a black and white or color photograph that features trees.
Size Requirements:
No smaller than 3"x5" and no larger than 8"x10"
The resolution of your image must at least 300 dpi
You can obtain entry form from me.
Form must completed for your work to be submitted into the contest.
Your photos are due at midnight on March 27, 2012

Research Project
Create a PowerPoint presentation on the photographer you chose in class.
Save your presentation on the network in your folder.
Your presentation should include but is not limited to the following:
  • Artist biography (Include an image of the artist.)
  • Time period the artist was born and was an active artist
  • What politically and socially was happening during those time periods?
  • What style of photography does the artist fall under? (portraiture, motion, photojournalism, etc.)
  • What type of photographs did the artist take? (digital, calotype, silver gelatin print, etc.)Explain what it is.
  • What kind of camera did the artist use?(Include an image of the camera. )
  • Include at least 5 images by the artist (low resolution and blurry photos are unacceptable) It is possible to find high resolution images on the web.
  • All photos must have titles, dates, and type of medium
  • *Be prepared to talk about each photo and provide background information on the photographs.
  • Reference page (list your sources of where you found your information)
  • *Note: Wikipedia may provide false information because anyone can go into the site and change the provided information.
