Dear Parents,
Happy New Year! We are finishing up the third semester this week. For the
next two weeks we will be reviewing SOL 4.7 Planet Earth. Our third Benckmark
Test is scheduled January 12. We look forward to working with you and your
child the second half of 5th grade.
Concerns:
Students are to be reading 30 minutes each night.
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday we have silent reading in the classroom.
Students can go to the Library each morning before 1st Period.
Please continue to encourage students to fulfill their Read-up Contract.
We are proud of the accomplishments our students have made in adjusting to
5th grade.
