What can I do to help my child?

Check your child's agenda book each night to see if there is a homework
assignment. Review homework when it is completed. Help your child study for
tests and quizzes by using the flashcards, notes, and worksheets in his or
her 3-ring binder. The dates for the quizzes and tests will be in the agenda
book and in the homework section of teacher web.

When do we have homework?

Homework is given 2-4 times per week. Check assignments in your child's
agenda book and in the homework section of teacher web.

There will be projects assigned throughout the year. I will send project
directions home to be signed by the parents. Most projects are due 2 weeks
after they have been assigned.

What happens if homework is not completed or turned in?

If an assignment is not completed or turned in, the student will stay inside
during recess to complete the work. Also, the student will receive a
homework notice. This notice needs to be signed by a parent and returned the
next day. If it is not returned, the student will be given silent lunch, and
the parent will be called.
