My name is Richard Donahue and I began teaching at Paul VI in 1986. I have
taught all four levels of American Government and have also taught American
History, Twentieth Century History, Sociology, and Geography. I also taught
for three years in the DeSales Center. I have come and gone from Paul VI a
few times over the years and I have been fortunate that they have welcomed me
back each time. From late 2001 until early 2004 I was a teacher in Kiribati
with the Peace Corps. In 2008-2009 I spent a year in New Orleans rebuilding
houses that were damaged by Hurricane Katrina. I thorougly enjoyed both of
those experiences, and I have also enjoyed each and every year that I have
spent at Paul VI.
