Homework will be assigned most days. I collect it on a random basis at the beginning of class or I may collect one or more assignments the day of a quiz/test. The homework must be labelled in the upper right hand corner of the page with NAME, DATE, CHAPTER/SECTION and ASSIGNMENT (e.g., p. 231, 2 -24 evens). The original problem/figure and all work must be shown. Answers alone will not be accepted. Home work should be done in pencil. Any work done in ink will be returned with no credit.

I grade homework based on effort. If the homework is labelled correctly, done in pencil, all original problems shown, all figures drawn (key for Geometry) and all problems tried, you will receive full credit.

I do not give credit for late or misplaced homework. Homework left at home, in the car, in a locker or in another class, etc., does not count. I will not give you the pass to go search for your work.

If you miss a class to attend a school sponsored activity, you are still responsible for completing that day's work.

If you missed class due to an illness, it is up to you to see me before or after school regarding a reasonable make up schedule for tests and homework. Please be proactive. If you do not see me or do not meet the agreed make up schedule, you will receive no credit for the homework and/or test.
