What books and materials should students bring to ACE and DeSales ?

Students should always bring their planners. They should also bring the
books and assignments for at least two subjects. Students should plan to
work first on the assignments that require the most assistance from a
resource teacher. The ACE And DSLC teachers ask some of their students to bring math
homework to every ACE or DSLC class for a check of student mastery of skills.

Do the Special Programs teachers assign homework?

The Special Programs teachers will not assign homework in addition to that
of the subject teachers. As Special Programs teachers introduce new study
strategies to students, they will expect students to use these strategies to
complete their subject teacher's assignments. Special Programs teachers will
expect students to complete at home the study activities begun daily in ACE
or DSLC e.g. vocabulary flash cards, quizlets, essay rough drafts, skill practice
worksheets, test review questions, graphic organizers, text highlighting,
