May 16th:
- Reviewed the basic information about sexually transmitted disease.
- Took and quiz on STD's.
- Read the article "Is Oral Sex Okay so that You Don't Go All the Way" (available in the 'handout' section.)
- Began watching the beginning of the video "Romance Without Regret" with Jason and Crystalina Evert.
May 5th
Distributed the tabloid magazine "Why I Should Wait" that contained information about sexually transmitted disease and discussed the key points from it.
April 24th
Father Bashista (Diocesan Director for Vocations) came to speak about vocations. He explained that we all have a vocation that God is calling us to (most to married life) and that even at their age they are not too young to begin thinking and praying about that vocation.
April 4th
We had two PVI speakers, Bernice and Eva, come share their story about teen pregnancy and adoption. Bernice talked about the challenges she faced in her Junior year when she found out she was pregnant. She also talked about the gift of adoption and her journey to choose adoption for her daughter. Her birthdaughter Eva, shared her thoughts on adoption and the reunion she had with her birthmother Bernice.
March 23rd:
- Continued our notes on contraception and NFP.
March 13th
- Took a quiz on chapter #6 and #7.
- Discussed contraception versus Natural Family Planning (see "handout" section of the website)
Wednesday, Feb. 29th
- Discussed chapter #7 and the qualities of authentic love as true, faithful, total, fruitful.
- Watched a portion of the Theology of the Body for Teens on chapter #7.
Thursday, Feb. 16th
Had a guest speaker, Kevin Bohli (Diocesan Director of Youth Ministry) come speak to each of the classes. He discussed the language of the body and "lies" with the body including fornication, pornography, and masturbation.
Wednesday, Jan. 26th

- Discussed fetal development and distributed the "Watch Me Grow" pamphlet
