I was born in Washington, D.C.. I attended Catholic elementary and High
Schools. I received my B.S. from the University of Maryland. I have attended
both UVA and The Catholic University of America to take Graduate level
courses.
I am the mother of four sons. Luke, a computer spy, is married to Lauren, an
occupational therapist, and they have a son, Peter, who is 16 months and is
as cute as can be! Father Will is a Catholic priest and is at Our Lady of
Hope Parish in Cascades. Nicholas is a substitute teacher this fall here at
Paul VI. He also is a deejay, and does set up and lighting and sound for
special events. Michael is applying to Officer Candidate School for the U.S.
Army.
I also have two cats, Sandy, 17 years old, and Cinders, 3 years old. I have
several hermit crabs also.
I love to snorkel and catch lobster, fish and conch. I love the beach, warm,
ocean water, shells, coral, fish, invertebrates, pelicans, and the sand! I
love the Out Islands of the Bahamas! I also like to read books about the
lives of the saints. I enjoy cooking and making leaded stained glass and
mosaics.
I absolutely love teaching in Options!
I hope to give each student the necessary knowledge and tools that they may
need to use the talents that God has given them to the best of their
ability!
