I'm a former graduate of Princess Anne myself and alumni of Old Dominion
University. This will be my 16th year teaching at Princess Anne. I
maintain control of my class by making them believe I am crazy....(Who said
that?.....must be the voices in my head again), just kidding. I feel a
certain level of mutual respect helps. I like to keep things light-hearted
and funny. However, I will admit that I am a hard teacher. I EXPECT my
students to put forth all their efforts and to be held accountable when they
don't live up to their responsibilities. I don't give a worksheet, go over
a worksheet and then give a quiz on the same exact worksheet. In order to
pass my class, you WILL have to study. Although I am hard, I consider
myself to be very fair when it comes to grades. I absolutely enjoy teaching
and the day I no longer enjoy teaching will be the day I quit.
Hmmmmmmm....now this is a hard one. I would hope the mission would
be to pass the class, but I hope that you have fun while you learn. Oh
yeah, almost forgot...It would be nice if EVERYONE passed the SOL's and got
a 5 on the AP Exam......No pressure though.
