World Travel
This week
Finn's mom and dad shared many items from Asia, New Zealand and Fuji islands. It was great fun looking at all of the amazing items from a paper umbrella, to masks, to money to sheep skins. Thanks so much for sharing with our class.
jobs: artist, photographer and reporter. We all worked hard for our Pay Day and Duty Free Shopping in Australia. Friday we flew to AFRICA!
Parents Can Help
We will travel to Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, South America, and then return to North America. If
you or anyone you know has been to any of these continents, we invite you to come in and share with our class.
Here is our tentative
travel schedule:
Africa Feb. 6-10; South America Feb. 13 - 17

Healthy Heart Happening, Valentines Day, President's Day, 100th Day of School & Optional Parent/Teacher Conferences
Change of clothes: Have you recently checked your child’s complete change of clothes that is kept in his/her backpack? Don't forget to send your child to school in a warm coat with hats, mittens and/or gloves. We
do go outside and recommend hats, mittens and boots (wet weather) to change into. They are at a great age to learn about responsibility. We can help support this when everything is labeled (even boots).
It is important to step outside of the classroom environment to get a break. It is important for your child to learn to zip, button, and/or snap his/her own coat. Practice at every opportunity. He/she should also learn how to put on his/her own gloves, hat and/or mittens.
