Message from the Principal

Welcome to Riverview Elementary/Middle School. On behalf of the administration, faculty, and staff, I want to thank you for entrusting the care and education of your child to us. At Riverview we strive to assist each student in reaching his/her full potential. I am looking forward to working with students and parents to ensure that each child has a memorable educational experience while at Riverview.

All rules and regulations of Buchanan County Schools and Riverview Elementary/Middle School will be enforced in a fair and consistent manner for all children.

School information can be accessed on Phone Master. You can check your child's homework, upcoming events,and menu also by phone at 935-1978. This will provide helpful information when internet is not available.

Teachers are now online Teacher Index All homeroom teachers have websites, linked from the Faculty button. Visit them frequently to find out homework, announcements, and other class information. You may also email the teachers from their websites. Email is an efficient way of contacting your child's teacher.

Riverview Elementary/Middle is Fully Accredited Riverview Elementary/Middle School has been awarded full accreditation by the Virginia Department of Education for the 2009-2010 school year. The success of the school is attributed to the hard work of the teachers, administration, support staff, classified staff, Central Office staff, students, parents, and community.
