 Message from the Principal

Welcome to Russell Prater Elementary School. In my role of leadership, my goals for the school are many. First and foremost, however, is to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment rich with opportunities for each student to be challenged and learn according to their potential. We feel every child has a gift and it is our responsiblity, as well as a privilege, to shine a light on that gift in order to allow it to emerge.
   



Russell Prater Elementary is awarded full accreditation by the Virginia Department of Education and has met AYP for the year 2011-2012.
