IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE WINTER UNIFORM
- On P.E. days (Tuesday and Thursday), the school uniform sweatshirt is required. The students MUST have their sweatshirts and sweatpants at school. If it is very warm, they will not have to wear them, but they should be at school for outdoor recess and P.E.
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS AND PARENTS! The following has been copied from the "Uniform Policy" section of the St. Timothy School Webpage. Please make sure you abide by these rules. The bold print is from the school webpage. The highlights are from Mrs. Kurtis, but I would have highlighted the same things.
All Grades:
• Under no circumstances is it acceptable for underclothes to be showing.
• Skirts, skorts, and dresses must be within two inches of the crease in the back of the knee
• No make-up is permitted.
• Only clear nail polish is allowed.
• Small, stud earrings only are permitted.
• Students may wear a simple necklace with a medal or cross.
• Hair should be cut so that it is not in the student’s vision.
• Boys’ hair should be trimmed above shirt collar length.
• No hair dye, highlights, temporary, semi-permanent or permanent hair colorations are permitted.
• Uniform violations will be issued to those students who are not uniform compliant.
• Church participants must be in uniform or wearing dress up day clothing.
• PE uniforms will not be permitted for church participants.

UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
The summer uniform for both boys and girls may be worn until the Columbus Day weekend in October, and may be worn starting the first Monday in May. Tennis shoes must be worn with this uniform. Crew socks (white only).
Middle School Girls
Summer - Optional
Khaki shorts with WHITE polo shirt with school logo
Brown or black leather belt or khaki elastic belt with shorts
White crew socks and tennis shoes
OR
KHAKI SKORT with WHITE polo shirt with school logo
Black knee-hi socks and DARK brown or black shoes, see below.
OR White crew socks and tennis shoes
Uniform sweaters or vests may be worn with the summer uniform, if needed.
Winter - Traditional
KHAKI SKORT with white BUTTON-DOWN collared blouse
BLACK v-neck pullover sweater OR sweater vest with crest (MUST be worn with winter
uniform)
Black knee-hi socks (NO CREW SOCKS) or white or black tights
DARK Brown or black shoes, see below.
Middle School Boys

Winter Uniform Shoes
DARK Brown or black leather shoes with a tie, buckle or velcro (saddle, topsider, slip-ons or tied oxford). NO TENNIS SHOES, SPORT SHOES, STACKED HEELS, BOOTS, BOOT SHOES, MOUNTAIN OR CAMPING SYLE SHOES WILL BE PERMITTED.

Dress Up Day Requirements:
• Boys are required to wear a collared shirt (no printing) with nice slacks, a belt, and dress shoes with socks
• Sneakers/gym shoes are not permitted on dress up days.
• Girls may choose to wear nice slacks or skirts, blouses with sleeves or dresses, and tights
or pantyhose on cold/winter days, dress shoes.
• On warm days, girls may wear sandals but NO flip flops.
• Backless shoes are NOT permitted.
• No blue/black jeans may be worn.
• No tank tops or spaghetti straps will be permitted.
Dress Down Day Requirements:
• Clothing with inappropriate messages will NOT be permitted.
• Clothing with tears, rips or holes will NOT be permitted.
• Pants must come up to the waist.
• Girls may wear capris on warm days.
• If shorts are permitted on the given day, students must wear pe shorts or shorts of similar length depending on instructions
• Backless shoes and flip flops will NOT be permitted.
