Chapter 12 Study Guide
Students should be able to multiply numbers up to 5. This can be done by memorization of the facts, drawing pictures, drawing arrays, counting by numbers, or repeated addition.
Anything times 0 is 0. Anything times 1 is itself.
You should be able to understand and draw an array to show multiplication. (Example: For 3X5, line up 3 rows of 5 counters, or 5 rows of 3.)
You should be able to read a pictograph and not forget to look at the key.
You should understand how to divide groups of things into equal parts.
