Rocky Parrish:
St. Timothy School:
PE Teacher K-3; 6th Grade Elective:
I am originally from New Jersey. I double majored at Radford University
graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Science, Health,
and Sports Administration, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration
in Marketing. From Radford, I was accepted into Graduate School at the
University of Louisville. I graduated from U of L in 2007, with my Masters
of Science in Sports Administration which was through the Education
department of the university.
I have coached at the elementary school level for over 6 years in boys
basketball and football. Currently I am the Head Coach for the PVI JV
Boys basketball team, along with a assistant coach at the Varsity level.
Along with coaching, I have worked for both Radford University, The
University of Louisville's athletic departments and ESPN.
I am a die hard sports fan. My favorite sport to play/coach is basketball.
My favorite team out of all the professional leagues, is the New York
Giants. I am going to look into possibly coaching either football or
basketball in the area at the elementary school or high school level.
I am very excited to be a part of St. Timothy School and would like to
encourage anyone with questions to please email me at
rparrish@sainttimothyschool.org.
To make sure that all students learn how to follow directions, while building
the proper skills to understand and physically do what is asked of them
depending on the specific activity.
