Family Times Pamphlet

 

Your child is bringing home a pamphlet entitled Family Times.  At the beginning of every week we will work with this in class.  It tells you the sounds and phonics skills that we are working with for the week in Reading class.

 

Please read over the front of the page with your child.  Then play the game on the inside sometime during the week.  On the back you will find activities to complete with your child.  When an activity is completed, please initial or sign the box and attach the activity if it is completed.  Please staple all activities to the Family Times and return them one week from the date assigned.

 

If you have any further questions, please let me know.  The Family Times is a way to let you know the reading skills for the week.  Completing the activities will support instruction in the classroom.  If you complete the activities these can count for the 10 minutes of reading assigned for the night and counts toward the 70 minutes of reading for the week.

 

Don’t forget to complete the reading form or send in a note when your child reads for 70minutes.
