Everything You Need...

June 1, 2012

.
To safeguard the health of students in 1A, NO chocolate, eggs, nuts or peaches are allowed in the classroom at any time.

Count Down to Summer: 7 days

*

From the kitchen:

Monday we will sell bagels, cereal, uncrustables, and smoothies while available. Students must have money in their account or bring cash, as always. Tuesday, students will need to bring their lunch and will eat in the cafeteria and we'll sell what is available ie crackers, granola bars, fruit cups, etc. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be classroom lunches. Please remind students to pack a peanut free lunch if you are a peanut free classroom. While supplies lasts, we will be able to sell white milk for cash only for $.50. Let us know if you have any questions.

*

As we near the end of the year, please have your child in school everyday. The last few days of the school year are filled with end of year assessments. It is almost impossible to make up missed testing.

*

Spring Uniform Requirements:

khaki shorts with white polo shirt and
belt (This is NOT an option, but a required element) and
white socks above the ankle bone
and
sneakers

Please do not mix and match elements from the winter uniform. A sweater is always a good idea and may be added to the spring uniform.

Welcome to 1A!

*************************************************************

I want to thank to all the 1A parents who volunteered so tirelessly this year. The time you spent in art, library, PE and computer is priceless. In addition, I want to thank all the parents who volunteered to chaperone field trips. Last, but not least, special thanks to Mrs. Black and Mrs. McCarthy who made so many things possible.
