Tuesday- students will need to bring their lunch and will eat in the cafeteria.

Wednesday and Thursday- We will have lunch in the classroom.
Please pack a peanut free lunch.  While supplies lasts, we will sell white milk for cash only for $.50.

BEE FOLDERS - The children will not have Bee Folder homework this week or next week.  We need to return many of the books that they have been bringing home to read to the resource room.  Please continue to review the "Star Words" with your child over the summer!

Please return all library books!

Kindergarten graduation is on Friday, June 8 in the gym at 10:00.  All are invited to attend.  June 8 is the last day for kindergartenThe children come to school at their regular time that day and they will leave after graduation.  The girls are to wear dresses and the boys are to wear pants, dress shirt and a tie.  I suggest that the boys don't wear a suit jacket, they get too hot.

If you are VIRTUS certified, please consider volunteering to help at our specials.  We only have 4 parents who volunteer to help.  It is a great chance to see what your child is doing in class and they love having you come in.  Please contact me or Mrs. Painter if you'd like to volunteer.

This week we will be working on-
Reading - Father's Day Book and Memory Book
Math -   subtraction
Religion-  Bible stories

The children will begin to practice counting money during calendar time this month.  Each child will need to bring:
10 pennies
3 nickels
2 dimes
1 quarter

Please send the old traditional style coins if possible, not the new nickels and quarters, in a ziplock bag.

Please have your child practice putting on their coat and zipping or snapping it.  They should also practice turning their sleeves right side out and buttoning and unbuttoning their sweater.
