The upcoming week is a big one for St. Timothy Students. It's Catholic
Schools Week, celebrating the Faith, Academics and Service Catholic schools
continuously try to instill. We have many activities planned for the week
ahead:
Sunday: Students may wear their uniform to Mass and receive a free dress day
in February!
Monday: Opening Ceremony 8:30
Tuesday: Students may wear special Spirit tee-shirt and jeans or school sweat
pants. They are asked to consider a $1 donation to the Barbara Mertens
Scholarship Fund.
School-wide Spelling Bee 2:00 (5A class winners Michael Daly and Christopher
Black)
6:00 Faculty/Student Basketball Game for the Barbara Mertens Scholarship Fund
Wednesday: NO HOMEWORK DAY!
Thursday: New Family Open House 7:00
Friday: Students may wear jerseys or St. Timothy shirt with jeans or school
sweatpants. Game Day: 2:00
The Homework tab will now be updated with the homework that is assigned
for the week. The most accurate homework assignments will be found in the
student assignment pad as sometimes homework changes due to a variety of
reasons. The tab will help give you a general view of the week's homework.
5A Specials include: Monday-- Library 9:25, Tuesday -- Computer 10:20,
Spanish
1:25, Wednesday -- PE 9:25, Thursday -- Art 8:30, Spanish 1:25, Friday-- PE
1:25.
Here is what we are currently working on:
Religion: The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. Chapter 17.
Grammar: Unit 4. Adverbs.
Math: Chapter 7. Geometry.
Vocabulary: Unit 11.
Reading: Number the Stars. A wonderful novel set in World War II Denmark.
Spelling: Words Their Way Word Sorts
Social Studies: Western Europe. Test Tuesday.
