World GeographyINTERNATIONAL FAIR
8th Grade World Geography
4th term project: You (and your team) will create a booth representing the country of your choosing for the international fair. Your team will be expected to display vital facts, flags and maps that give a good overview of your country. These exhibitions can be presented in the forms of maps, charts, etc. Each display of facts needs to be distinct from each other. The vital facts on your country that you need to provide are:
1. 2 separate displays about the physical geography 2. 2 separate displays on the human geography 3. 2 separate political displays 4. 2 separate economic displays
Additionally, you will be expected to the display several unique features that makes the culture special, such as (but not limited to) cuisine, fashion, dancing, music, art, or mythology. One of the unique features needs to actively engage the visitors to your booth (example: dance lessons) and the other unique feature can be passive (example: food).
I encourage you to be creative. Have fun exploring and sharing your countries.
Grading will based on:
Depiction: The booth must give a correct portrayal of your country
Accuracy: Facts and displays will be cited
Production Value: Originality
Prizes:
A prize will be given for: Best in show Runner-up Most Interesting Booth
