TAKE A PEEK
at Our Eagles
of the Week!!
Every student in our class
will be honored as Eagle of the Week this year.
He
/ She will have tons of opportunities to be "cheered
on" by classmates and teachers!!
Monday--Eagle
of the Week Poster:
The Eagle will bring home an
Eagle of the Week poster to create and bring on
Monday. Include photos or hand-drawn pictures of
important things in the Eagle's life (ex. family,
pets, vacations, favorite activities, etc). It will be
shared on Monday and hung outside our classroom door
all week!

Tuesday--Favorite
Picture Book:
The
Eagle may bring in a favorite picture book to read to
the class (or have Mrs. Stamp read to the class).
Wednesday--Mystery
Box / Eagle Treat:
The
Eagle can place an object that is special to him/ her
in the mystery box. Then the Eagle will write five
clues to describe the object in the box. The class
will try to guess the mystery! You may also send a
small, healthy snack to share with the class on
Wednesday, if you wish. Some suggestions are: fruit,
veggies, pretzels, popcorn, goldfish, teddy grahams,
granola bars, etc. There are currently 25 students in
our class.
Thursday--Lunch
Buddy:
You
are invited to join your child in the cafeteria for
lunch on Thursday! You may also choose to invite a
sibling or a favorite relative to be your child’s
lunch buddy. If you are unable to make it during our
lunch time (11:55 AM-12:25 PM), please let me know
ahead of time, and I will plan a special lunch for
your child. (Note: I would also be happy to change the
schedule for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, if
you're planning on joining us for lunch and Thursday
doesn't work with your schedule.)
Friday--Eagle
Book of Friendship:
The Eagle’s classmates will
create a special book especially for him/her!! This
will be a special keepsake to remember a wonderful
week!
