What is a Math Journal?

This is a spiral ring or Lab notebook. Each day the student is 
required to record the date, question/title of the day,the daily 
Warm Up and the in class examples and practice work we do in class.
Please, frequently take a look at it. It will help see the 
progress your student is making and what we are leaning in class. 
In class work is for Hmwk support.

How do I retake or make up quizzes, tests, and projects in math or science?

All retakes and make work is due the week before the end of the quarter and semester. 
Check News Flashs and period # for dates. For this work you will need to do the folloing;

1. On a seprate piece of paper, make corrections for each 
   questions you did not receive full points.
2. Attached the corrections to the orginal test.
3. Retakes are given during sudy club.Make arrangements prior to the
   day you will come.
4. For the retake, you will exchange the corections for the new test.
5. I will look at the corrections, if they are incomplete or 
   incorrect you will need to address the problems before being allowed to take the test.
6. The grade you earn on the new test will replace the old score, even if it is lower.

How do I makeup or retake a Check Up for math or science?

Make sure I am availible after school. No corrections are 
required. These must be completed before the last week of the 
quarter and semester.

When is Hmwk due?

For math, Hmwk is due the folowing day for review. Hmwk will be turned in on the following Monday it is given (unless otherwise 
posted) with the weekly Check Up.Late Hmwk is not accepted after Monday.In addition, it needs to be neat,have your name, correct dates pg#'s and Problem #'s 
for each assignmet to be accepted.

For Science, Hmwk is due the folowing day, unless otherwise 
posted.

If you were absent, see me the day you get back.This work must 
be completed before the last week of the quarter and semester.
