I have been teaching at Carmichael for ten years. I have taught
reading, writing and math. This year I am teaching 6th grade math
and 6th grade math plus. I am the Math Club advisor and help with Cross
Country in the fall.
I grew up in the Tri-Cities. I am a graduate of WSU Tri-Cities (Go Cougs!)
and I received my Masters Degree from Heritage College. I have been married
for 14 years to my husband, Gordon. We have three children, Austin and
Bailey who are 11, and Samantha who is 4 years old. My hobbies include
scrapbooking, taking pictures, spending time with my family and friends,
volunteering for my church and attending my children's sporting events.
I want my students to feel comfortable with math. Just explore and have some
fun! Be open to new ideas and concepts. Try to apply yourself and give an
honest effort. You can accomplish anything! Yes, even math. :)
