Camp Eagle 2011

 Camp Eagle
  June 2011

                     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    At the end of the year Carter Lake celebrates by taking part in Camp Eagle. It's a week long event giving children the feeling of being away at camp. Classrooms become cabins, complete with a cabin name and color. There's mail call each day as well as opening and closing ceremonies where children share their cheers and show off their school spirit. There are many presenters that cabins cycle through during a day such as learning first aid, learning about horses & vet care of other animals, art projects, even getting to check out an army Stryker and much more.
   We owe many thanks to all the presenters, staff and volunteers that made this a wonderful event. This is our 2nd year and we look forward to another year with even more events. Take a look at some of the camp fun from 2011.
