All teachers now have websites, linked from the Faculty button. Visit them frequently to find out homework, announcements, and other class information. You may also email the teachers from their websites. Email is an efficient way of contacting your child's teacher.

Online tutors are available on demand, every day from 3 to 10 p.m. for one-to-one help with everything from homework to skills building and test prep. Professionally, trained and experienced tutors will help students in 4th through 12th grades with math, science, English and social studies.
 

Math and Science Scholarship

GET Ready for Math and Science Scholarship Notification
Low-and middle-income students graduating in 2010 who achieve Level 4 on the high school math or science WASL will be the first students eligible for the GET Ready for Math and Science Scholarship. Students who qualify for the scholarship may be eligible for up to four years of free tuition to a Washington state college or university. Contact the College Success Foundation by internet or call 1-877-655-4097 toll-free.
 

Cell Phones and Electronic Devices

Students may not use cell phones during school hours. If they choose to bring them, they must be turned off at school. When a phone or any electronic device is turned in to the office, the parent may pick up the phone/electronic device at their convenience. They are not returned to students.

When absences or tardies occur, parents should call the attendance line at (253)583-5435.
 

Lunches

Full-priced lunches are $2.55. Reduced priced lunches are $.40 and Full-priced breakfasts are 1.50, redused-priced breakfast is $0.30. Pre-payment of meals is encouraged and money should be paid first thing in the morning for lunches. Students will use the lunch debit card to access their accounts.
