Why grades 6-12?
Harrison Preparatory School provides a real opportunity to create a seamless curriculum that can stretch students' capacity for authentic, intellectual work. A school with this grade span can realize the positive impact of a sustained teacher-student relationship and the capacity of teachers to create in-depth learning based on knowing their students and building on their previous performance. One cohesive system that has a common focus on a clear set of student competencies, using the same rigorous assessments has the capacity to cover critical learning in more depth, over time and at more complex and sophisticated levels.Back to Top
