Here we are in 2nd Semester. Lakewood Career Academy is a career preparation high school program providing opportunites for students of the Clover Park School District to learn and prepare for the careers of their choice. LCA is partnered with the Clover Park Technical College in a collaborative effort to allow students a pathway to technical education learning opportunities.

CPSD Levy information

LCA and CPSD want to encourage all registered voters to vote in February for the Clover Park School District replacement Maintenance and Operations Levy. For further information about the Levy, please click on the SCHOOL NEWSLETTER tab, and click on any of the Levy Information links.

LCA will host a Levy Information Meeting on February 2, 2012, in room 212. Come and learn more about this Levy for Clover Park School District Students.

Winter 2012 Student Registration Student's and Families interested in attending Lakewood Career Academy, please call or come in to make an appointment to learn about your options. Winter 2012 Registration is open, 253-583-5390.

Inclement Weather Update

As the weather gets colder this Fall and Winter, we may have school delays or closures due to inclement weather. As these inclement weather days develop, stay tuned to your local TV and Radio News stations between 5:00am and 8:00am for updates on Clover Park School District #400 school delays and closures. You may also receive an automated telephone announcement about any delays or closures. Our district website will carry the inclement weather announcement as well. http://cpsd.cloverpark.k12.wa.us If you receive no phone call, and you do not hear or see a report on the radio or TV news, then the Clover Park School District #400 is operating as normal. Any announcement made is for that day only. Please do not call the news stations, the district office, or the transportation department for updates.

SmileMobile!

The SmileMobile Dental Van will be at Clover Park High School (11023 Gravelly Lake Drive SW) from Monday, March 19 through Friday, March 30. Children under the age of 19 will be served. Services include cleaning, X-rays and dental work such as extractions and fillings. Cost is on a sliding scale fee. They do accept DSHS as full payment. To make an appointment, or for assistance applying for medical insurance for your child, contact nurse Sue Biles at 583-5504.
