Social Studies

September 23: Read chapter 1, pages 3-11 in your social studies book. Take two
column notes for each lesson. Manage your time so that you do a little each
night rather that trying to complete the assignment all at once. 
Be prepared to turn in your notes and take the Chapter 1 exam on Friday,
September 30, if you are in the Tuesday/Friday class and Monday, October 3 if
you are in the Monday/Thursday class. You will be able to use your notes to
help you take the exam.


October 18: Read chapter 2, pages 17-27 in your social studies book. Take two
column notes for each lesson. Manage your time so that you do a little each
night rather that trying to complete the assignment all at once. 
Be prepared to turn in your notes and take the Chapter 2 exam on Tuesday,
October 25, if you are in the Tuesday/Friday class and Thursday, October 27 if
you are in the Monday/Thursday class. You will be able to use your notes to
help you take the exam.


October 25: Read chapter 3, pages 28-43 in your social studies book. Take two
column notes for each lesson.  Be prepared to turn in your notes and to take
the Chapter 3 exam on Tuesday, November 1, if you are in the Tuesday/Friday
class and Thursday, November 3, if you are in the Monday/Thursday. 
You will be able to use your notes to help you take the exam.

November 1: Read chapter 4, pages 44-55 in your social studies book. Take two
column notes for each lesson.  Be prepared to turn in your notes and to take
the Chapter 4 exam on Tuesday, November 8, if you are in the Tuesday/Friday
class and Monday, November 14, if you are in the Monday/Thursday. 
You will be able to use your notes to help you take the exam.

November 8: Read chapter 5, pages 56-71 in your social studies book. Take two
column notes for each lesson.  Be prepared to turn in your notes and to take
the Chapter 5 exam on Tuesday, November 15, if you are in the Tuesday/Friday
class and Monday, November 21, if you are in the Monday/Thursday. 
You will be able to use your notes to help you take the exam.

November 15: Read chapter 6, pages 73-83 in your social studies book. Take two
column notes for each lesson.  Be prepared to turn in your notes and to take
the Chapter 6 exam on Monday, November 28.

November 28: Read chapter 7, pages 85-97 in your social studies book. Take two
column notes for each lesson.  Be prepared to turn in your notes and to take
the Chapter 7 exam on Monday, December 5, if you are in the Monday/Thursday
class or Tuesday December 6, if you are in the Tuesday/Friday class. You will
be able to use your notes to help you take the exam.

December 5: Read chapter 8, pages 98-111 in your social studies book. Take two
column notes for each lesson.  Be prepared to turn in your notes and to take
the Chapter 8 exam on Monday, December 12, if you are in the Monday/Thursday
class or Tuesday December 13, if you are in the Tuesday/Friday class. You will
be able to use your notes to help you take the exam.

December 15: Learn about your assigned state and be prepared to start your
report on January 3 or 5.
