I was a student in the Rainier School District from second-grade through
high school graduation. Next I graduated as Salutatorian from Saint Martin's
University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and teaching
certification endorsements in elementary education (K-8) and special
education (K-12). I also have a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Grand
Canyon University. I taught at Hughey Elementary School in Texas for one
year, at Bitburg Elementary School (DODDS) in Germany for three years, and
this will be my 20th year teaching in Rainier.
One of my goals as a teacher is to help each of my students feel successful
and important. I want them to have the confidence to try hard and to reach
their full potential, no matter what challenges they may face in life. I
will treat my students with respect, compassion, and understanding.
I am looking forward to another wonderful year!!
