Dear Families,
Thank you so much to all of the parents that helped with the Christmas party. It was a marvelous
success. The kids had a wonderful time!
We spent the week gearing up for the holidays. We hung out with our buddies, and finished our gifts for
our families. We practiced for the pageant. We finished our unit on making connections, and took a
math test. We also learned about writing words in a snap and using our dictionaries or the word wall as
a way to help with words we think we know how to spell, but not in a snap. Finally, we spent much of
the week remembering what this season is truly about, and discussing the true story of Christmas.
There will be no homework over the break. Please continue to read with your child and try to do a few
decks, but you are on your honor. Enjoy this magical season, and Merry Christmas to you all. See you in
the New Year!
