What is the Discipline policy for Spanish class?

Middle School Discipline Policy

A. Middle School Expectations
1. Respect yourself, others, and property.
2. Maintain a modest and neat appearance in accordance with the uniform policy. Shirts will be
tucked in at all times.
3. Come prepared and on time to class with required books, supplies, and homework.
4. Do not chew gum or eat during class.
5. Follow all other school rules as outlined in the school handbook.

B. Consequences
1. When a student chooses not to follow one or more of the rules, he/she will be given an
appropriate consequence.
2. In some cases, students will be asked to fill out a Problem Solving Sheet. Teachers and
administration will follow up with the student on the incident and if appropriate will send a copy of
the sheet home for parent signature.
3. When a student�s behavior is extremely inappropriate, parents will be immediately notified.
Please refer to the list of school expectations in the school handbook. If necessary, the teacher will
schedule a conference with the parent(s) to discuss behavioral/disciplinary actions.

It is the student�s responsibility to read, understand, and follow the school and classroom
expectations. It is also the student�s responsibility to be aware of the consequences if he/she
chooses not to follow the school and classroom rules and expectations.

What is the homework policy for Spanish Class?

Middle School Homework Policy

A. Homework Requirements
1. Use white notebook paper. No torn edges!
2. Type or neatly write assignments in blue or black pen. Math assignments should be done in
pencil.
3. Label each assignment in the upper, left corner of your paper with the following:
a. Name
b. Date
c. Subject
d. Assignment

B. Late Work Policy
1. Turn in assignment on the due date!
2. If work is incomplete or missing, the student will attend a supervised work time (No Recess
Hall) in one of the middle school classrooms.
3. Student�s late assignment will receive a 20% deduction.
4. After adequate warning, a late assignment will not receive credit.
5. For an excused absence, a student has as many days missed to make up the assignment.

C. Teacher Response to Late Work
1. The Student�s name will be recorded and the student will be asked to report to the next
scheduled No Recess Hall available daily during lunch recess.
2. After repeated missing or late assignments, the parent(s) will be notified.

It is ultimately the student�s responsibility to turn their work in on time.
