7 Mini Home Activities


Day 1 One set of 10 push-ups & two sets of 10 Sit-ups

Day 2 Three sets of a combination of 15 jumping jacks, 5 push-ups and 5 crunches.

Day 3 Crab Kicks (get in crab walk position; then kick with right foot, then kick with left; repeat 5 times) & Golden rest (This is a rest activity where students get a break by slowly walking around the house chanting "one golden rest, two golden rests, three golden rests, four golden rests, five golden rests". Then get 3 hugs from a family member.)

Day 4 Leaping leaps (do 6 standing long jumps) & one minute of rooster hops (simply hopping on one foot. Students can alternate legs if needed.)

Day 5 Ten sets of Skipping Steps (on sidewalk or safe area on street student skips from one side of their property and back = 1 set)

Day 6 Running in place for 1 minute & Jumprope skipping for 1 minute

Day 7 Walk/jog with a parent for up to 30 minutes (or so)
