Sixth grade students will be learning about technology literacy as part of the
6th grade science curriculum. Once quarter will focus on the Solar System.
The other will focus Oceanography. Computer programs such as Inspiration,
ComicLife, PowerPoint, and Celestia will be used to create projects and
presentations about the scientific information learned.
This course is meant to help students gain the necessary skills required to
become organized, self-reliant, responsible students. With the help of Margo
Malizio, students are also able to have one-on-one help with subjects or
assignments they may struggle with. This is not a Study Hall, where students
avoid homework or projects until they come to this class, but a structured,
skill-building course.
