Assignment #3
Travel Map requirements - using a draw program. Sumopaint or Word
• Find a map of your country
•Research the physical features, major cities and places of interest.
•Draw the outline of your country including bordering countries and/or bodies of water
•Use a symbol to show where you arrive and depart (airplane to show flying)
•Decide on the major places that you would like to visit and color code those places.
•Draw your travel route showing where you land, where you go next and continue using arrows to show all the places you go and where you depart from.
•Label everything and create a key for your symbols.

Choose a monument, flag or a point of interest from your country and place a picture of you next to the feature. (Use Sumopaint or word)

Assignment #5
Research two festivals or celebrations from your country. You will create two different presentations one for each celebration. One will be using Comic Life and the other will be using Powerpoint. You must use words and pictures to dipict the celebration.

Search for descriptions of the festivals or celebrations in the country that you are going to visit. Include the following.......
•Date of the celebration
•History of the celebration
•Foods associated with the celebration
•Special costumes or dress for the event
•Is the celebration a regional event or a country event
•Pictures associated with the event.

Assignment #6
Create a budget for your trip including transportation (flight, car rental, bus), lodging, food and entertainment. There is a budget of $4000.00 for everything. You must document the expenses on an excel document. Include websites that you find the information (show pictures of hotels). Sites like tripadvisor, expedia, orbitz are great places to get quotes.
